• Do I need to undress for a Reiki session?
  No. Reiki is performed with the client fully clothed, usually resting comfortably on a treatment couch under a light blanket. I recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing so you can fully relax.

• Does Reiki hurt?
  Not at all. Reiki is a non-invasive, gentle therapy. Most people find it deeply relaxing.  You may feel a pleasant sensation of warmth or tingling, or see colours.

• I’m currently undergoing medical treatment (e.g., chemotherapy). Is Reiki safe for me?
  Yes, absolutely. Reiki is a complementary therapy that works alongside conventional medicine. It has no contraindications and is often used in hospitals and hospices to help manage stress, pain, and the side effects of medication.

• How many sessions will I need?
  While a single session can provide deep relaxation and stress relief, long-standing or chronic issues usually benefit from a series of treatments. I often recommend my 6-session “Healing Commitment Package” to allow the body to peel back layers of tension and achieve lasting balance.

• Do I have to be “spiritual” or believe in it for it to work?
  No. Reiki is not a religion or a belief system. Its effectiveness does not depend on your personal beliefs. All that is required is a desire to feel better and a willingness to rest for an hour.
